Marine Tagawa graduated Yamano College of Aesthetics in 2011,​ then started her carrier working as an assistant in Covent Garden in London. After 2 years of working in London, she went to Omotesando, Tokyo, to work as a junior hair stylist. She started to have more clientele of color, where she got influenced by the underground culture, fashion  from London. Later on 2015, she decided to move to New York for art, fashion and culture to combine with hair styles. Her hair styling skills were trained in Manhattan, New York.  Japanese straightening, and Blow dry were popular at the salon where she worked, and has a 'Certificate of Liscio Straightening'.  Marine also started to collaborate with photographers, stylists, makeup artists to work on some projects. Attending NYFW, fashion photoshoots, wedding hair make up, etc. She relocated to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Room Salon in 2016, started to expand her clientele focusing more how people can enjoy their own natural hair. Mostly focusing on dry cut, to get the right texture what clientele wants, and highlights, balayage. Spending 3 years in New York, she decided to move back to Europe. Now she is freelancing as a hair stylist based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
